Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its Western Cape team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven construction professional with extensive experience managing multi-storey residential developments from project inception through to successful completion.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering Construction Management or similar qualification.
- National Technical Diploma in Construction will be advantageous.
- Formal qualification in Health Safety and Environmental Management will be advantageous.
- Registered with SACPCMP either or
- Minimum 810 years experience within the building construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior supervisory or construction management role.
- Proven experience managing multi-storey residential construction projects.
- Extensive experience managing General Foremen Construction Supervisors subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Strong experience overseeing concrete structures wet trades finishing trades and project close-out.
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts procurement budgeting and commercial management.
- Strong knowledge of South African construction legislation and HSE requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural structural and engineering drawings.
