Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints layout drawings and technical specifications.

  • Install new elevators in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.

  • Assemble and install elevator components including guide rails elevator cars motors control systems and associated equipment.

  • Connect electrical wiring and perform functional testing to ensure systems operate correctly.

  • Carry out troubleshooting adjustments and commissioning during the installation process.

  • Perform elevator removals and modernization projects.

  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations building codes and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and installation team to achieve project deadlines.

  • Submit accurate daily site reports.

  • Communicate site progress risks delays and technical issues clearly and promptly.

  • Maintain tools equipment and company assets in good working condition.

  • Follow all company policies procedures and operational requirements.

  • Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of work completed and the sites assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).

  • Valid South African drivers licence.

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an Elevator/Lift Installer.

  • Experience in elevator installations removals and modernization projects.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Good understanding of installation safety standards and industry regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and reporting skills.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
