Job Summary

Introduction

Aspire Recruiting is currently sourcing a meticulous and highly analytical Compliance Officer on behalf of a prominent milling enterprise based in Bloemfontein. This pivotal role is designed to ensure that the organisation operates in full compliance with applicable laws regulations internal policies and industry standards.

By developing implementing and monitoring robust compliance programmes you will play a crucial role in minimising risk and maintaining ethical business practices. If you have a strong background in the milling sector and a passion for upholding rigorous food safety and operational standards this opportunity will allow you to drive continuous improvement and safeguard organisational integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop company compliance communication and ensure proper reporting channels are established for compliance issues and procedure changes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and food safety requirements company systems policies and procedures.
  • Review and evaluate operational procedures to assist management in identifying areas for improvement potential risks and common issues.
  • Perform comprehensive internal audits and conduct physical inspections of company policies standard operating procedures (SOPs) and staff performance.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Conduct detailed system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Ensure the meticulous administration and maintenance of all compliance-related records.
  • Uphold strict health and safety standards participate in OHS activities and ensure a clean hazard-free work area.

Experience & Qualification

  • A valid National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4.
  • A related tertiary qualification will be highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience specifically within the Milling industry.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in MS Office (including MS Outlook MS Excel MS Word and SharePoint).
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Protocols Systems and ISO 22000 regulations.
  • A valid RSA drivers licence coupled with your own reliable transport.
  • Core competencies must include resilience under pressure critical thinking meticulous attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills
