Commercial Excellence Manager — Strategy & Performance Improvement

This Cape Town-based opportunity sits within a growing commercial advisory capability and offers exposure to a large multi-year transformation programme for a major international group. The work is data-driven multi-business and commercially focused with direct exposure to senior leaders and complex organisational environments.

1. Lead high-quality commercial diagnostics across pricing margin contracting sales effectiveness and commercial process performance producing clear insights that can guide senior decision-making.
2. Build and improve practical commercial tools such as pricing models margin calculators bid evaluation templates and sales pipeline tracking tools that support adoption across business units.
3. Own workstreams independently within larger strategy and performance-improvement engagements maintaining analytical rigour clear workplans risk visibility and alignment with project leadership.
4. Translate analysis into executive-ready recommendations through structured storylines high-quality presentations reports models and supporting materials.
5. Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption by facilitating workshops training sessions and validation discussions with senior leaders client managers and subject-matter experts.
6. Develop junior consulting talent by guiding analysts and consultants giving feedback maintaining quality standards and helping the team deliver under tight timelines.
