Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial and Business Analyst to provide accurate financial operational and commercial analysis across dedicated contracts. The successful candidate will support business decision-making by analysing revenue costs contract performance and operational data while preparing accurate financial and management reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and provide accurate daily weekly and monthly financial and operational analysis packs including analysis of revenue costs expense allocations invoicing and contract performance.
- Analyse revenue and cost processes to ensure revenue completeness accurate expense allocation and effective financial performance across contracts.
- Provide detailed commercial and operational analysis support ad hoc analysis projects and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business performance optimisation.
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field advantageous.
- 45 years experience in a similar Commercial Analyst Business Analyst Financial Analyst or Operational Analyst role.
- Proven experience in comprehensive operational and commercial analysis.
- Experience engaging with management-level stakeholders.
- Relevant logistics transport or supply chain industry experience advantageous.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with TMS Qlik Sense Smartsheet SQL and Python at intermediate/advanced level.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Knowledge of relevant software solutions within the logistics environment.
- Project management experience advantageous.
- Strong analytical numerical reasoning problem-solving and data interpretation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational time management communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
