Job Summary
Position: Collections Specialist Accounts Receivable
Working Hours: Full-TimeMonday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST (overlap required;
: may extend to 7-8 PM EST as needed)
Search Location: Philippines or South Africa(Remote)
Salary: $1000 to $2000 per month
: The Final Salary Offer depends on the clients decision interview results and experience
About the Role:
This is a full-time remote project-focused role supporting a large-scale Accounts Receivables recovery initiative across newly acquired senior living and healthcare communities. The primary function is to proactively manage and execute collections on outstanding patient liability and aged/inherited bad debt across a full continuum of care including private pay Medicaid patient liability and private coinsurance balances.
Role Responsibilities:
- Make high-volume outbound collection calls to residents and family members across multiple facilities/states.
- Manage aging reports and prioritize efforts to recover outstanding balances.
- Access the PointClickCare (PCC) system to review resident profiles account histories and documentation.
- Document all collection activity attempts and outcomes in the system/PCCs collection notes.
- Pull review and provide account statements to support collection conversations/upon request.
- Offer flexible payment options (e.g. credit card EFT).
- Coordinate with internal teams as needed while operating independently with minimal training.
- Support final collection attempts and maintain detailed records prior to account write-off decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 25 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Language Requirement: Clear professional English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Mandatory proficiency in the PointClickCare (PCC) system.
- Strong understanding of AR processes and aging reports.
- Comfortable making outbound collection calls.
- Ability to navigate sensitive financial conversations working with elderly populations with patience and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills detail-oriented and excellent documentation habits.
- Ability to manage multiple facilities/states simultaneously.
- Reliable remote work setup and internet connection.
