What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)
In this role youll take full ownership of a CNC machine managing everything from job cards and programming to setup machining and final inspections. Planning jobs preparing tooling and ensuring top-quality output will be part of your daily rhythm. What youll need
A Mechanical Engineering Diploma or trade qualification such as Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker is essential along with 1 to 3 years of CNC machining experience. Confidence in programming setting and running machines independently is key. You should be able to read technical drawings use inspection equipment and have basic CAD knowledge. A valid drivers licence and your own transport are required.
