Duties & Responsibilities
At Network Contracting Solutions we partner with leading enterprise organisations across Gauteng connecting top-tier Cloud and Infrastructure Architects with strategic projects. We are currently engaging with experienced Azure Solutions Architects for upcoming opportunities within large complex environments.
These roles offer exposure to enterprise-scale cloud transformations hybrid infrastructure design and business-critical architecture initiatives. You will work closely with both technical and executive stakeholders shaping cloud strategy driving cost optimisation and delivering secure scalable solutions aligned to business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure cloud architecture including IaaS PaaS and hybrid solutions
- Develop and govern Azure landing zones security models and cost optimisation strategies (FinOps)
- Lead cloud migration initiatives including assessments planning and execution
- Define monitoring disaster recovery and resilience strategies for enterprise environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide architecture oversight across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Administrator)
Experience:
- 4 - 8 years in IT infrastructure cloud or architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS governance migration)
- Experience in hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Exposure to AWS is advantageous
- Experience in cost modelling optimisation or FinOps is beneficial
- Strong stakeholder engagement and solution design experience
Skills:
- Azure Architecture (Landing Zones Governance Security)
- Cloud Migration & Strategy
- Infrastructure (Active Directory Virtualisation Networking)
- Monitoring (Azure Monitor Log Analytics)
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
