THE POSITION

• Supervise train and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure safe efficient and high-quality cleaning services are delivered across the hospital.
• Manage daily operations inductions staff development equipment management audits and compliance reporting.
• Oversee infection prevention and control practices including clinical cleaning waste management hygiene standards and responding to infection risks.
• Support a positive safety culture by promoting safe work practices managing hazards resolving customer concerns and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

THE PERSON

• Previous cleaning experience with demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to train support and motivate team members.
• Knowledge of infection control practices workplace health and safety requirements and cleaning operations within healthcare environments.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance and be physically fit reliable and flexible in their approach to work.
