Job Summary
A leading consulting engineering firm is seeking a Professional Registered Civil Technologist with 8 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of projects while mentoring junior team members.
Job Description:
- Design and develop civil engineering infrastructure projects
- Prepare detailed designs drawings specifications and technical reports
- Work on roads stormwater drainage and bulk earthworks projects
- Coordinate with clients contractors and other professional disciplines
- Provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle
- Review designs and deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists
Skills & Experience:
- Lead and manage the technical delivery of assigned civil engineering projects
- Undertake design calculations and develop practical engineering solutions
- Assist with project planning coordination and technical reporting
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards specifications and municipal requirements
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support to project teams
- Liaise with clients authorities and other stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of the technical team
- Minimum 8 years of relevant civil engineering experience
Qualification:
- BTech / BEng Tech Civil Engineering qualification
- Professional registration with ECSA (PR Tech Eng)
