Civil Engineer Municipal Infrastructure

Our client is a multidisciplinary infrastructure consulting company providing professional engineering project management and built-environment services to public and private-sector clients.

They are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Municipal Infrastructure Department. This role offers the opportunity to work on the planning design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects with involvement across roads stormwater water supply and sewer reticulation.

Requirements:

• 37 years relevant Civil Engineering experience
• Education: BEng/ BSc in Civil Engineering
• Strong experience in municipal infrastructure design
• Experience in roads stormwater water supply and sewer reticulation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure standards

Responsibilities:

• Plan design and develop municipal infrastructure projects including roads stormwater water and sewer infrastructure
• Undertake engineering calculations technical analysis and detailed designs
• Prepare and review engineering drawings design reports specifications schedules and Bills of Quantities
• Compile technical documentation for tender and construction purposes
• Provide technical input during tender processes and contract administration
