Job Summary
Communicate Finance is actively seeking to connect with high-calibre Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)) currently operating in senior finance and leadership positions across South Africa. We partner with a broad network of clients ranging from listed entities and multinational corporations to rapidly growing businesses seeking exceptional finance talent. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the financial reporting function ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting forecasting and strategic planning processes
- Provide commercial and financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Drive financial performance analysis and identify opportunities for business improvement
- Strengthen internal controls risk management and governance frameworks
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and relevant stakeholders
- Partner with senior leadership to support growth strategies investment decisions and operational efficiencies
- Lead mentor and develop finance teams to ensure high performance and succession planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- BCom Accounting Financial Management or a related finance qualification
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
Skills and Experience
- Currently employed in a Finance Manager Financial Manager Head of Finance Finance Business Partner Group Accountant Financial Controller Finance Director or similar finance leadership role
- Post-articles experience within commercial finance financial management reporting audit or advisory environments
- Strong knowledge of IFRS financial reporting and corporate governance principles
- Experience in budgeting forecasting financial analysis and business partnering
- Proven ability to influence strategic decision-making through financial insights
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience managing finance teams and driving performance
- Advanced analytical problem-solving and commercial acumen
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
