Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned to organisational objectives
- Lead annual budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and recommendations to enhance profitability and business performance
- Prepare and present accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Take full ownership of the accounting function including general ledger management reconciliations month-end and year-end reporting
- Oversee cash flow management working capital optimisation treasury functions and cost-control initiatives
- Manage investment portfolios and property-related financial activities including lease agreements
- Ensure payroll accuracy and ongoing compliance with statutory requirements
- Maintain compliance with taxation audit governance and regulatory requirements
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while supporting key stakeholders across the business
Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualification:
- CA(SA)
- Completed SAICA Articles
- Minimum 2 years post-articles experience
- Proven experience within a full-function finance environment
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide strategic financial insight
- Strong financial reporting and technical accounting expertise
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of corporate governance compliance and risk management
