Minimum Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential.
- 510 years post-qualification experience.
- Significant experience within the oil and gas sector is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience in start-up scale-up or high-growth organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a finance function from inception.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS corporate governance taxation treasury and financial reporting.
- Experience implementing ERP/accounting systems financial controls and reporting frameworks.
- Establish and lead the finance function including building a high-performing finance team.
- Develop and implement accounting policies financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Select and implement accounting and ERP systems to support business growth.
- Lead budgeting forecasting cash flow management and financial planning.
- Oversee statutory reporting annual financial statements tax compliance and external audits.
- Develop financial models to support commercial decision-making and business expansion.
- Manage treasury banking relationships and working capital.
- Provide strategic financial insight to the executive team and Board.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Drive process improvements and establish scalable financial operations to support long-term growth.
