Position: CCTV Controller

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd is looking for a vigilant professional and service-oriented CCTV Controller to join our team.

Purpose of the Position

The CCTV Controller is responsible for protecting company sites personnel assets resources and operations through the effective monitoring of CCTV surveillance and electronic security systems.

The incumbent will actively monitor live camera feeds and surveillance platforms identify and respond to security incidents suspicious activities and operational risks coordinate appropriate responses preserve and gather evidence and ensure incidents and emergencies are managed in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The role requires a highly vigilant professional and service-oriented individual capable of maintaining concentration for extended periods while operating within a fast-paced control room environment. The CCTV Controller must also possess a strong understanding of CCTV technology camera health monitoring and technical fault identification.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.

• PSIRA Grade A/B Registration.

• Valid CCTV and Control Room Certification.

• First Aid and Fire Fighting training.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Control Room or CCTV Monitoring environment.

• Experience in incident management and security operations.

Technical Skills

Experience with the following will be advantageous:

• Hikvision CCTV Systems.

• Hikvision NVR/DVR Systems.

• IP Cameras.

• CCTV Monitoring Software.

• CCTV Footage Playback and Retrieval.

• Video Analytics Platforms.

• AI Surveillance Technology.

• Alarm Monitoring Systems.

• Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements

• Computer literacy.

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work shifts weekends and public holidays.

• Fluent in English.

• No criminal record.

• Own reliable transport.
