We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience - Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently including cash credit and debit payments - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products promotions and store policies - Ensure that all products are scanned and priced accurately - Handle returns and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations - Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain a balanced cash drawer - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when needed - Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocols Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays - Must be reliable punctual and able to work well in a team We offer a competitive salary opportunities for growth and development and a positive and supportive work environment.
