Job Summary

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-6 years post-graduate experience within a quantity surveying consultancy
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying
- Candidate registration with SACQSP advantageous or working towards professional registration
- Sound knowledge of quantity surveying principles and standard methods of measurement
- Experience with cost planning estimates bills of quantities and contract administration advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Cost X DimX and WinQS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple projects
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost planning budgeting and feasibility estimates
- Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation
- Measure quantities and prepare cost reports throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with contract administration valuations and payment certificates
- Monitor project costs and identify cost variations
- Liaise with clients contractors consultants and project stakeholders
- Attend site visits and project meetings as required
- Support senior quantity surveyors in the successful delivery of multiple projects
- Maintain accurate project records and commercial documentation
