We are looking for experienced and motivatedCall Center Team Leaders to join our growing this role you will lead a team of approximately 1520 agents supporting the Payables operation through back-office payment processing and outbound customer contact where required. You will be responsible for driving team performance developing employees and ensuring operational excellence while delivering exceptional service to our client.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead coach and develop a team of approximately 1520 agents.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a back-office payments team supporting the Payables programme.
  • Drive productivity quality accuracy and operational performance to achieve client and business objectives.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching feedback and performance reviews.
  • Support agents with payment-related processes and outbound customer contact where required.
  • Monitor attendance schedule adherence and service levels.
  • Handle operational escalations and support the resolution of complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies client requirements and operational procedures.
  • Prepare performance reports and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive collaborative and high-performing team environment.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Must have a clear criminal record.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening assessment.
  • Excellent leadership communication and coaching skills.
  • Strong organisational analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work onsite during US operating hours.
Preferred
  • Previous Team Leader or Supervisor experience within a BPO or contact centre environment.
  • Experience managing back-office payment operations.
  • Experience managing team productivity quality and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of people management processes.
  • Experience supporting US-based clients is advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to Payables systems is highly advantageous.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment including a phone copier and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects move objects from place to place hold onto objects and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
