Job Summary
Our client specialises in the development leasing and management of commercial and industrial real estate across South Africa.
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Buyer to procure building materials equipment and services for construction projects and associated companies.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Source and evaluate suppliers products and pricing.
- Negotiate contracts pricing payment terms and delivery conditions.
- Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
- Research market pricing products and industry trends.
- Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock requirements.
- Ensure purchased products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Resolve supplier quality pricing and delivery issues.
- Prepare procurement and supplier-performance reports.
- Manage Open-to-Buy budgets in line with inventory objectives.
- Review product ranges and suppliers periodically.
- Guide and support junior buyers.

- Must be based in Centurion or willing to commute or relocate.
