Business Head

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Head to oversee the overall performance profitability operations and strategic direction of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth operational efficiency financial performance customer satisfaction and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will have strong senior management experience with a proven track record in managing operations budgets people sales and strategic initiatives. Experience within a manufacturing distribution industrial or supply chain environment will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the business.
• Oversee daily operations productivity and performance.
• Drive revenue growth profitability and business development.
• Develop and manage budgets and monitor financial performance and costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities and monitor market and competitor activity.
• Lead mentor and develop management teams and employees.
• Ensure effective workforce planning and performance management.
• Identify and manage business and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with labour health and safety governance and company requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Monitor KPIs and report business performance to the Managing Director and Board.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Management Commerce Operations Management or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 810 years management experience.
• At least 5 years experience in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing budgets operations people and commercial performance.
• Manufacturing distribution industrial or supply chain experience advantageous.
• Strong financial commercial leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication negotiation decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
