About the Role
We are looking for a driven and highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a fast-growing company serving the insurance legal and investigations sectors across North America.
This role is focused primarily on outbound prospecting and appointment setting. The SDR will conduct high-volume cold outreach to generate qualified meetings for senior sales team members. Success in this role comes from consistency confidence on the phone resilience and strong follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to prospective clients
- Generate qualified meetings for senior sales representatives
- Follow up with prospects through email and LinkedIn outreach
- Build relationships with decision-makers across insurance legal and investigations industries
- Maintain accurate prospect and outreach tracking within HubSpot or CRM systems
- Manage follow-up conversations from initial outreach through booked meetings
- Support outreach tied to conferences events and marketing campaigns
- Meet daily weekly and monthly outreach KPIs
Day-to-Day Focus
- Approximately 90% outbound cold calling
- Approximately 10% email follow-up inbox management and LinkedIn outreach

- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Positive competitive and resilient personality
- Coachable and eager to improve
- Organized with strong follow-up discipline
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Based in Cape Town South Africa
Preferred Experience
Preferred but not required:
- SDR / BDR experience
- Appointment setting
- Call center or telesales experience
- Lead generation
- Recruiting or outbound sales experience

Compensation
- Base Salary: $1200$1400 USD/month
