Business Development Manager (Mining)

• Identify develop and secure new business opportunities across targeted markets and industries.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth and profitability objectives.
• Conduct market research competitor analysis and identify emerging market opportunities.
• Build manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through to contract award.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers partners and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and present business cases commercial proposals and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with technical operational and commercial teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation technical engagement negotiations and contract execution.
• Participate in tender processes and support commercial negotiations where required.
• Monitor business development performance maintain CRM records and prepare management reports.
• Represent the organisation at industry events client meetings and networking opportunities.
• Support market expansion initiatives and identify opportunities to diversify products services and customer markets.

• National Senior Certificate
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Metallurgy Mining Mechanical Engineering Chemistry Geology BCom (Financial) or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-10 years of proven business development commercial technical sales or account management experience within the mining industry
• Proven experience developing new business opportunities and managing strategic customer relationships.
• Computer literacy (SAP and MS Office)
• Valid Drivers License

• Salary: R900K - R1.2Mil P.A
