Job Summary
Our client a well-established enterprise based in Port Elizabeth is seeking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Consultant to manage and expand both local and international sales channels (natural fabric raw materials).

This frontline sales role is ideally suited to a commercially minded professional with a passion for building relationships identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across diverse markets with experience in natural fabric raw materials.
The successful candidate will engage with local and international suppliers and clients contributing directly to the companys continued growth and global reach.

Requirements:
- A qualification in Sales Marketing Business or a related field is essential.
- Previous experience within the textiles yarn and/or natural fibres industry will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of sales success and business development experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures and international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities through proactive cold canvassing in both local and international markets.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage daily sales activities in alignment with overall sales targets and business strategy.
- Strong focus on customer relationship management including growing and retaining existing accounts while increasing customer spend.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to take initiative.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute positively as a team player.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills particularly in costing deals and managing exchange rate fluctuations.
- Exceptional attention to detail including the ability to accurately distinguish colour variations and shades (a critical requirement for the role).
