BUSINESS ANALYST (FINANCIAL DATA & CLIENT IMPLEMENTATION)
Paarl (Hybrid)
A growing technology business in the financial services sector is seeking to appoint a Business Analyst to join its client implementation and onboarding team.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an accounting finance or analytical professional who enjoys working with data and business processes and would like to expand beyond a traditional accounting or finance successful candidate will work closely with financial services clients to understand their revenue and commission structures analyse financial data configure business rules within a specialised software platform and guide clients through successful system implementation.
This role offers a unique combination of financial analysis business consulting client engagement systems implementation and problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyse client business models revenue structures commission arrangements and reporting requirements
- Gather interpret validate and reconcile financial and operational data from multiple sources
- Configure client-specific business rules and system settings
- Assist clients in transitioning from spreadsheet-based processes to a structured software platform
- Investigate data discrepancies and identify root causes of issues
- Validate data integrity and ensure accurate revenue allocation and reporting
- Manage multiple client onboarding and implementation projects simultaneously
- Liaise with clients and internal teams throughout the implementation process
- Document business requirements and implementation decisions
- Provide training support and guidance to clients during onboarding
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Commerce Business Management Information Systems or a related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in accounting bookkeeping audit financial administration business analysis financial services or a similar analytical role
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working with software systems and technology platforms
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Experience in financial services investments insurance wealth management or commission-based environments
- Exposure to data analysis system implementation ERP systems CRM systems or financial software platforms
- Experience working with reconciliations reporting or financial data management
