Duties & Responsibilities
Education:
- BEng Mechanical Engineering
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Experience in building services engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC fire protection and plumbing systems
- Familiarity with SANS regulations and building codes
- Design software proficiency advantageous
- Strong project management and communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings
- Prepare mechanical building services calculations and reports
- Develop system layouts and equipment selections
- Design energy-efficient heating ventilation and air conditioning solutions
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Conduct site inspections and condition assessments
- Prepare tender documentation and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Support project planning execution and commissioning activities
- Liaise with clients architects contractors and stakeholders
- Assist with green building and sustainability initiatives
- Monitor project budgets timelines and deliverables
