Pinetown. An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the operations of its new Pinetown branch. This hands-on role is ideal for a qualified Millwright or Electrician with 510 years experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily branch and factory operations
Supervise factory and administrative staff
Plan and coordinate daily production and logistics
Manage raw material ordering inventory stock control and monthly stock takes
Ensure accurate order picking dispatch and deliveries
Maintain production records and submit daily reports
Approve employee clockings and oversee attendance records
Conduct daily inspections of plant and equipment ensuring defects are repaired
Maintain a safe clean and efficient working environment
Open and close the facility including alarm activation
Liaise with sales administration and factory teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

Matric
Qualified Millwright or Electrician
510 years experience as a Production Manager or in a similar manufacturing leadership role
Valid drivers licence
Strong leadership organisational and communication skills
Good mathematical and report-writing abilities
Able to work independently and lead a team effectively
Physically fit and willing to work Saturdays when required
