An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a professional advisory and research organisation based in Oranjezicht Cape Town. This is apart-time position requiring 12 hours per week making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible working arrangement.
Reporting directly to the Financial Manager youll take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function ensuring transactions are accurately processed accounts remain fully reconciled and financial records are maintained to an audit-ready standard.

Duties:
- Maintain accurate debtor and creditor records
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and allocate transactions correctly
- Identify overdue debtors and creditors and flag potential cash flow risks
- Prepare monthly VAT and EMP reconciliations and complete SARS eFiling submission
- Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification required
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting advantageous
- 35 years hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Experience with VAT EMP and SARS eFiling submissions
