Job Summary

Our client a well-established law firm based in Lynnwood Pretoria is seeking an experienced Bonds Cancellation Secretary to join their team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in bond cancellations including SBSA legal and deceased bond cancellations and be able to work efficiently under pressure while managing a high volume of files. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail be a strong team player who works well alongside a Conveyancer be computer literate and hold a relevant degree diploma or certificate. Knowledge of Commercial Law and Insolvency Law will be advantageous.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in bond cancellations.
  • Proven experience with SBSA (Standard Bank South Africa) legal and deceased bond cancellations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing a high volume of files while maintaining accuracy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively alongside a Conveyancer.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Relevant degree diploma or certificate in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Law and Insolvency Law.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently when required.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES:
  • Manage and coordinate the bond cancellation registration process from instruction through to registration.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate complete and submitted within the required timeframes.
  • Liaise effectively with banks clients and other relevant parties throughout the cancellation process.
  • Ensure all bank client and conveyancing attorney requirements are met efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure the timely registration of bond cancellations.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal regulatory and banking procedures.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support throughout the bond cancellation process while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00
