Job Summary
Bid Office Manager Johannesburg (On-site)
Multinational ICT company seeks a Bid Office Manager to lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to final submission. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent bids coordinating cross-functional teams ensuring compliance and quality standards and delivering error-free compliant tender submissions within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bid sourcing qualification planning development reviews approvals submission and feedback.
- Maintain bid pipelines calendars compliance matrices and submission records.
- Coordinate technical sales finance legal and executive stakeholders across multiple bids.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance compliance checks and document control.
- Ensure tender compliance including SBD forms CSD SARS tax status B-BBEE pricing schedules and supporting documentation.
- Oversee electronic and hard-copy submissions ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
- Maintain content libraries drive continuous improvement and report on bid performance and win rates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- 3 years bid proposal or tender management experience preferably in ICT or technology services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of South African tender processes including SCM SBD forms CSD B-BBEE and tax compliance.
- Experience conducting bid compliance and quality assurance reviews.
- Advanced MS Office skills and excellent English communication.
Advantageous:
- APMP certification or Shipley training.
- Experience with proposal automation tools CRM systems or SharePoint.
- Knowledge of ICT solutions and commercial models.
