BI Developer (3-Month Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced BI Developer to join their team on a 3-month contract. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a passion for transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and scalable reporting solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions and reporting platforms.
• Build and optimise dashboards reports and visualisations using modern BI technologies.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
• Ensure data quality integrity and consistency across reporting environments.
• Optimise BI systems for performance scalability and usability.
• Develop and maintain data models and data warehouse structures.
• Support deployment maintenance and enhancement of BI platforms.
• Collaborate with IT data and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Mathematics Statistics Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong Microsoft Power BI experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
• Solid SQL and database management skills.
• Experience developing ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Python and Spark will be advantageous.
• Ability to manage BI projects from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
