Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to their manufacturing facility in Gauteng. This is an opportunity for a technically skilled professional to lead automation initiatives improve production efficiency and enhance plant reliability

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain industrial automation and control systems

Program troubleshoot and optimise PLC HMI and SCADA systems

Support equipment installations commissioning and plant upgrades

Diagnose and resolve automation and control system faults

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and equipment reliability

Develop and maintain electrical and automation documentation

Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to optimise manufacturing processes

Ensure compliance with engineering safety and quality standards

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Degree Electrical Engineering/ Automation Engineering
• 3 - 5 Years experience as an Automation Engineer
• Strong knowledge of PLCs HMIs SCADA systems VSDs and industrial networks
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems
• Analytical troubleshooting and project management skills
