This hybrid position based in Durban offers an opportunity for candidates across all major cities and requires the successful candidate to form an important part of the diversely talented highly experienced team and work closely with our clients nationally and internationally upholding the firms values and ethos.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently plan and execute audit engagements
Ensure the team delivers timely audit work to clients and partners
Analyze financial data records reports and statements
Maintain a deep understanding of clients industries and sectors
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Continually seek opportunities for process improvement and make a tangible impact
Keep financial databases up-to-date including audit findings
Have a service-oriented approach to dealing with clients
Conduct internal training as necessary and align with continuous professional development.
Act as a mentor encouraging others to embody the firms values
Qualifications
- Be a South African citizen
- Must have CTA (BCom Accounting Honours)
- Must have BCom Accounting Degree completed for local audit applications
- ITC will be advantageous
- High stress threshold effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
- Team management skills
- Effective communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
