Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development review and presentation of complex financial models for infrastructure and project finance transactions.
- Perform business project and investment valuations using a range of valuation methodologies.
- Support and lead transaction execution across Project Finance Infrastructure Advisory Corporate Finance and M&A mandates.
- Conduct financial due diligence commercial analysis and investment assessments.
- Prepare investment committee papers client presentations and transaction reports.
- Engage with lenders investors sponsors legal advisors and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Provide strategic financial advice across sectors including renewable energy water and sanitation transport utilities and other infrastructure projects.
- Mentor and develop junior professionals while contributing to business development and client relationship management.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant degree in Finance Accounting Economics Engineering or a related field.
- CA(SA) CFA FMVA MBA or similar postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
- 812 years experience within Project Finance Infrastructure Advisory Corporate Finance Investment Banking Transaction Advisory or M&A.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation experience.
- Proven experience working on complex transactions from origination through execution.
- Exposure to infrastructure sectors such as renewable energy water and sanitation transport mining telecommunications or broader infrastructure projects will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
