Our client in the steel manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Assistant Stores Manager to support inventory control warehouse operations and stores management activities.
Grade 12 (Matric) Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Logistics Warehouse Management Inventory Management or related field
35 years experience in stores warehouse or inventory management
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
Experience in manufacturing engineering mining or steel production environments advantageous ERP system experience (SAP Syspro Sage or similar)
Key responsibilities:
Inventory and stock control management
Supervising warehouse and stores operations
Materials spare parts and consumables management
Stock reconciliations and reporting
Team leadership and staff supervision
Ensuring health safety and housekeeping compliance
