Assistant Management Couple Luxury Game Lodge Hoedspruit

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Management Couple for a luxury game lodge based in Hoedspruit. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality couple who are passionate about guest service wildlife and lodge operations.

• Lead manage and train the Front of House team.
  
• Deliver exceptional guest service from arrival to departure.
  
• Oversee room checks camp readiness and guest experiences.
  
• Manage guest accounts payments petty cash and gratuities.
  
• Coordinate stock control ordering and central store stock takes.
  
• Organise special guest experiences including bush breakfasts and sundowners.
  
• Conduct weekly town trips when required.
  
• Assist with lodge administration and daily operations.
  

• Previous experience in a 4 or 5-star lodge environment.
  
• Strong Front of House experience is essential.
  
• Excellent guest relations and hosting skills.
  
• Strong administrative organisational and planning abilities.
  
• Hands-on leadership and staff management experience.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and presentation standards.
  

• Conduct game drives on a rotational basis.
  
• Deliver engaging interpretive guiding and exceptional guest experiences.
  
• Assist with lodge operations and management duties.
  
• Oversee lodge maintenance and property upkeep.
  
• Support staff management training and development.
  
• Assist with lodge administration and operational planning.
  
• Manage the lodges social media platforms.
  
• Conduct weekly town trips when required.
  

• Previous experience within a 4 or 5-star lodge environment.
  
• Strong guiding background with Trails Guide qualification preferred.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• FGASA Level 1.
  
• FGASA Lead Trails Guide.
  
• FGASA ARH.
  
• First Aid Level 1.
  
• Valid PrDP.
  

OR

• NQF Level 2 (including Unit Standards 8440 & 8478).
  
• VPDA.
  
• First Aid Level 1.
  
• Valid PrDP.
  

• Salary of R30000 combined.
  
• Live-in position.
  
• Provident Fund contribution.
