Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Maintenance Manager to join a luxury lodge in Touws River. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting all maintenance operations ensuring safety compliance managing projects and contractors and overseeing the lodges facilities and equipment.

Salary: R20000 per month

Location: Touws River Western Cape

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing operations across buildings accommodation public areas and equipment

Manage projects contractors and budgets efficiently

Ensure compliance with OHS standards fire regulations and safety protocols

Control stock tools and procurement processes

Oversee fleet management servicing and reporting

Supervise and develop maintenance staff performance and capabilities

Maintain high standards of operational and environmental safety within the lodge

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Relevant maintenance qualifications and certificates

Valid Drivers License

First Aid Level 3 certification

Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety compliance

Firefighting experience (Crew Leader/Crew Boss including grass fires)

Strong knowledge of electrical systems transformers and generators

Key Skills
