Job Summary
An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Accounting or equivalent; A minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience.
Competencies
Knowledge of the following: Legislation the PFMA accounting frameworks GRAP MCS any other applicable accounting frameworks policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions; Strong financial accounting background specifically in GRAP and MCS accounting frameworks; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Attention to detail and good interpretation of numbers; Written and verbal communication skills; Good report writing skills; It will be advantageous to have a Post graduate qualification in accounting.
