Artwork Layout Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Artwork Layout Specialist to join a fast-paced creative and production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate print-ready artwork while ensuring layouts meet branding requirements and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate layouts aligned with client corporate identity and product branding requirements.
• Size scale and position artwork correctly according to specific branding methods.
• Complete artwork within the required 2-hour SLA unless otherwise communicated.
• Perform final quality checks on alignment scaling proportions and file readiness.
• Convert and clean client logos while maintaining brand colours and visual integrity.
• Prepare artwork according to resolution bleed safe-zone and other production requirements.
• Identify and escalate potential branding or production challenges before client approval.
• Convert and optimise files for print and digital requirements.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and work towards agreed KPI targets.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively within a high-volume environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• National Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW.
• Adobe Creative Suite knowledge will be advantageous.
• Understanding of corporate branding and artwork approval processes.
• Knowledge of print and production processes colour modes vector and raster artwork.
• Familiarity with line drawings and product templates.
• Experience checking and converting file formats.
• Ability to prepare print-ready artwork.
