The successful candidate will be appointed according to the career ladder for MSP positions according to your level of experience and qualifications.
To support production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilizing all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant and/or equipment.
- Do daily plant preventative inspection
- Planning own tasks
- Do preventative and repairs on plant equipment according to safety regulations instruction and quality procedures.
- Conduct fault finding on mechanical equipment
- Initiate pro-actives in maintenance
- Must be able to do standby
- Willing to work overtime
- Grade 12/ N3 with Maths Science and English as subjects
- NQF level 4 Mechanical Fitter or equivalent qualification
- Trade Certificate a must (Red Seal / QCTO Certificate)
- At least 2 years maintenance mechanical experience as a qualified Fitter/Learner Artisan Mechanical
- Reading and understanding work management process
- Experience in variety of mechanical equipment pumps compressors drives mechanical seals gearboxes heat exchangers cooling towers vessels and piping.
- Bucket elevators Conveyor belts Vibrating screens and Rotating drums
