Core Programme Features & Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Training: Participate in a rigorous SAGMA-aligned training programme that seamlessly combines both practical hands-on experience and theoretical learning.
• Expert Mentorship: Work under the direct guidance and mentorship of experienced qualified millers to master the intricacies of food production.
• Technical Application: Utilise your basic mechanical background and aptitude to assist with the daily operations maintenance and fault-finding of milling machinery and equipment.
• Operational Support: Actively gain hands-on technical skills while supporting the broader team in achieving daily production targets.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Demographics: Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 28.
• Academic Foundation: A valid National Senior Certificate (Matric) is strictly required with Mathematics and/or Physical Science considered a significant advantage.
• Technical Capability: A demonstrable basic mechanical background hands-on technical experience or a strong mechanical aptitude is essential for succeeding in this physical and machinery-driven environment.
• Mindset: A genuine passion for the agricultural and food manufacturing sectors coupled with the commitment to complete a demanding structured apprenticeship.

• Strong analytical and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work ethic reliability and the ability to thrive in a hands-on technical learning environment.
• High capacity to absorb complex theoretical knowledge and apply it to practical machinery operations.
