Application Support Engineeer Workforce Software
Job Summary
Are you an experienced Workforce Software professional ready to take ownership of a mission-critical platform Were urgently seeking skilled contracting resources with hands-on WFS (ADP) experience to join our Application Management Support (AMS) team.
This is a high-visibility role delivering functional and technical support for Workforce Software as part of a mature SLA-driven managed services model. Youll work within a unified AMS capacity pool resolving incidents fulfilling service requests and driving continuous improvement across scheduling time & attendance and workforce processes.
You will be the go-to expert for the ongoing stability and optimisation of the Workforce Software solution. Operating in a collaborative AMS environment youll handle incidents service requests and change requests while ensuring business continuity for core workforce management processes.
This role sits at the intersection of functional expertise and technical problem-solving ideal for someone who thrives on diagnosing complex issues supporting configuration changes and partnering with both business users and vendor teams (ADP/WFS).
- Incident & Service Request Management Analyse troubleshoot and resolve WFS incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs. Support users on scheduling time tracking and workforce queries. Prioritise work in line with the AMS delivery model.
- Change Requests & Enhancements Support configuration changes enhancements and small-scale improvements. Perform impact analysis effort estimation and testing for approved changes.
- WFS Functional & Technical Support Provide deep support across core capabilities including:
- Workforce scheduling
- Time and attendance processing
- Reporting and analytics
- Configuration and scripting
- Workforce scheduling
- System Monitoring & Stability Monitor performance integrations and interfaces. Proactively identify risks recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Testing & Release Support Execute functional and integration testing. Support deployment and release activities.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration Engage with ADP/WFS and internal teams (including SAP AMS) to resolve issues end-to-end. Partner with business stakeholders to maintain service continuity.
- Knowledge & Continuous Improvement Contribute to documentation knowledge transfer process improvements and automation initiatives.
Essential Experience
- Hands-on Workforce Software (WFS / ADP) functional and/or technical experience particularly Time & Attendance custom reports and Job Scheduler
- Solid understanding of workforce scheduling and time management processes
- Strong incident analysis and troubleshooting capability
- Exposure to AMS / ITIL-based delivery models
- Experience in reporting scripting or configuration
Advantageous
- Experience supporting complex enterprise workforce management solutions in a managed services environment
- Familiarity with integrations and release management
- Ability to work effectively in a shared-capacity AMS team
