Are you an experienced Android Developer with a
Were partnering with a leading organisation in the payments space that is looking to add a skilled Android Developer to their growing technology team. Youll be responsible for developing and maintaining Android-based payment applications used on POS and card payment devices working on solutions that process millions of transactions securely and efficientlyWhat Youll Need
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with native Android development using Java and/or Kotlin
- Solid understanding of EMV protocols (contact and/or contactless payments)
- Experience working with ISO 8583 financial messaging standards
- Hands-on experience integrating Android hardware peripherals such as:
- Card readers
- NFC devices
- PIN pads
- Experience using AIDL/IPC for hardware communication and integration
Advantageous Experience
- Exposure to React Native Ionic or Capacitor alongside native Android development
- Knowledge of PCI PTS and/or PA-DSS compliance standards
- Experience with DUKPT or MK-SK key management
- Previous exposure to payment terminals payment processing environments fintech platforms or transaction-processing systems
