Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and deploy AI-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and create measurable value.
Translate business requirements into scalable AI products features and automation opportunities.
Build and maintain APIs services and data pipelines that enable AI capabilities within operational environments.
Develop and enhance intelligent applications using machine learning generative AI and large language model technologies.
Implement and manage production-ready AI solutions across cloud and enterprise platforms.
Create and optimise retrieval-based AI architectures using structured and unstructured data sources.
Evaluate refine and improve prompts model outputs and AI system performance to ensure reliability and relevance.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define solution requirements and drive successful delivery.
Develop proof-of-concepts and minimum viable products to validate new ideas and accelerate innovation.
Build and maintain data ingestion transformation and preparation processes that support AI initiatives.
Establish monitoring frameworks to track model performance system stability user adoption and business outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement through experimentation testing and evaluation of emerging AI technologies and methodologies.
Ensure AI solutions align with governance standards security requirements and responsible AI principles.
Produce and maintain technical documentation architecture designs implementation guides and operational procedures.
Contribute to the advancement of AI capabilities across the organisation by sharing knowledge best practices and technical expertise.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering Information Technology Business or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
Certifications in AI Machine Learning Product Development Agile Methodologies or Cloud Technologies will be beneficial.

Experience:

3 - 5 years experience in Software Engineering Machine Learning Data Science or AI Development.
Proven experience building and deploying AI or automation solutions in live production environments.
Experience delivering technology products or solutions that generate measurable business value.
Exposure to Financial Services Insurance Banking or regulated industries advantageous.
Experience working with business stakeholders data teams and agile delivery environments.
