AI & Data Analytics Manager

We are partnering with an established organisation operating in a complex regulated and data-rich environment. The organisation is entering an important stage of capability building and is looking for a leader who can turn AI ambition into practical governed and valuable outcomes.

This is not an opportunity to inherit a mature AI function. You will be joining at the beginning of the journey with the mandate to help define the direction operating model governance foundation and first delivery priorities within a Microsoft-driven technology ecosystem.

1. Assess and define: Establish a clear view of current AI/data maturity Microsoft platform capability constraints and opportunities then produce an actionable AI strategy and prioritised roadmap.
2. Establish responsible foundations: Design and implement an AI governance and ethical-oversight framework covering accountability risk explainability auditability model lifecycle controls and practical decision rights.
3. Deliver the first capability: Select an appropriate problem model/solution approach and Microsoft-aligned architecture then help take the first practical AI or intelligent-automation capability from definition through deployment and adoption.
4. Improve data readiness: Identify and address the data-quality accessibility lineage and process constraints across the Microsoft data estate that would prevent reliable AI or analytics outcomes.
5. Drive adoption: Build stakeholder alignment and a change-management approach so that technology legal/regulatory distribution and operational teams understand how to use govern and improve the capability.
6. Shape the operating model: Define the resources skills controls commercial considerations and future team structure required to scale responsibly beyond the initial standalone appointment.
