An exciting opportunity exists for a driven Debtors Supervisor to join a fast-paced FMCG business. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with technical debtors expertise ensuring the effective management of collections customer accounts and team performance while delivering results that support the broader financial objectives of the business.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the debtors ledger drive collection strategies ensure compliance with financial controls and support the business through effective cash flow management. Proven people management experience strong stakeholder engagement skills and prior exposure to the FMCG sector are essential.

Job Description:
- Leading mentoring and developing the Debtors team to achieve departmental objectives
- Managing the full debtors function within a high-volume FMCG environment
- Overseeing a large debtors book and ensuring collections targets are consistently achieved
- Driving collection strategies to improve cash flow and minimise overdue accounts
- Reviewing account reconciliations and resolving complex customer queries
- Approving credit notes payment allocations account adjustments and journals
- Monitoring debtor ageing and implementing corrective action where required
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers sales teams and key stakeholders
- Preparing and analysing debtors reports for management review
- Identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiencies
- Ensuring adherence to company policies internal controls and audit requirements
- Supporting month-end processes and maintaining accurate debtor records
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of collections credit control processes and debtor management principles
- Solid understanding of financial controls governance compliance and risk management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Qualification:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma
