Accountant / Bookkeeper
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping and accounting function across two company branches.
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping and accounting function across two company branches.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Accounting Finance Bookkeeping or related field (Advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years relevant accounting / bookkeeping experience
- Experience managing accounts for multiple branches
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One and Sage
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Experience overseeing financial administration for two branches
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- General Ledger reconciliations and maintenance
- Inventory management experience
- Full bookkeeping / accounting function experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance and financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger
- Inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Bank reconciliations and cashbook processing
- VAT submissions and statutory compliance
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Financial reporting and analysis for management
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping across both branches
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and communication skills
