ACCOUNTANT - EAST LONDON

Qualifications and Experience

• BCom degree accounting diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three years commercial accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts trial balances and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and daily data captures
• Develop cash flow forecasts and analyse revenue and expenditure trends
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely submission of statutory returns
• Produce and manage annual budgets forecasts and variance analyses
• Monitor payroll processes prepare wage summaries and related reports
• Enforce compliance with GAAP internal policies and high standards of financial hygiene
• Provide ad hoc financial support and liaise with management and other departments
