As the Finance Managers right-hand person youll gain broad exposure across financial reporting costing budgeting cash flow management compliance and operational finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to expand their expertise and contribute to a dynamic fast-paced business.
Duties:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end and year-end close.
- Develop budgets forecasts and perform variance analysis to support business performance.
- Maintain and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure costing accuracy.
- Perform standard costing analyse cost variances and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor inventory production costs and product profitability to support informed decision-making. .
- Ensure compliance through internal controls audits and adherence to company policies.
- Partner with the Finance Manager to support the day-to-day finance function and drive operational efficiencies.
- BCom Accounting or Finance
- CIMA qualification or studying towards CIMA will be advantageous
- At least 5 years accounting experience within a manufacturing environment is compulsory
- Costing experience is essential
