Job Summary
Our client a well-established organisation operating within the agricultural industry is seeking to employ an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role is based in Addo Eastern Cape.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Further qualifications and accounting designations would be advantageous
- Minimum three years relevant experience
- Knowledge of accounting and other financial principles and practices
- Understanding of sound governance principles and practices
- Computer literacy MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and financial processing/reporting software
- Plan manage and coordinate finance related activities for the business
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monitoring actual spending versus budget
- Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts
- Reporting to stakeholders on financial and related matters
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and overseeing the day-to-day cash flow
- Evaluation of control environment implementing improvements where appropriate
- Providing financial support to the operational side of the business
