Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage retain and service a portfolio of commercial clients (incl. related personal lines).
- Build strong client relationships and conduct regular reviews.
- Handle policy amendments endorsements renewals and queries.
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Generate and convert new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with FAIS TCF and regulatory timelines.
- Collaborate with insurers underwriters claims teams and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- RE 5
- Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance
- FETC in Short Term Insurance NQF 4
- Class of Business - Personal Lines
- Class of Business Commercial Lines
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years commercial insurance experience.
- Minimum 3 years in an Account Executive or similar client-facing broking role.
- Proven track record in new business retention and portfolio growth.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial judgment and sound decision-making.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
